Tara Zellous is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with behavioral and mental health challenges. She received a Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Argosy University in Atlanta, GA and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology/Human Services from Clayton State University in Morrow, GA. Tara is employed with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities and owns a private practice, ReBalance Counseling Services, LLC. In addition, she has worked in multiple settings including behavioral health hospitals, outpatient clinics, residential treatment, alternative schools, department of juvenile justice, and adult felony mental health/substance abuse accountability courts. Tara has provided treatment for a range of emotional/mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, parenting issues, substance use, and disruptive, impulse-control, and conduct disorders. She specializes in providing treatment to adolescents and women with adjustment disorders.
